Documentaries that Focus on People and their Lives

With its third project complete, GershmanFILMS is making a name for itself. Its most recent project, “December Art,” is complete and ready for distribution. The film focuses on a unique program, used by the Bancroft School in Haddonfield, NJ, that helps children with disabilities create beautiful pieces of art.

“December Art” is GershmanFILMS third documentary. The second was “Searching for Sunlight,” a close look at a failing marriage. While the couple owns a car dealership and has more wealth than most could ever imagine, the wife’s lifelong battle with depression threatens to destroy everything the two have worked for, including their marriage.

GershmanFILMS’ first project, an independent venture initiated by founder Oleg Gershman, was titled “Claudia” and appeared on NJN during the holiday season in 2008. Claudia, captured the drama of two people in their fifties trying to start a family after suffering through 13 miscarriages.
