Production on GershmanFILMS' second documentary coincides with the release of 'Claudia', which aired on Dec. 29th, 2008 on NJN. 'Claudia' was the film company’s first project, a documentary about a the difficulties of a 48-year-old woman and her husband in attempting to conceive the baby. Claudia Affannato suffered through 13 miscarriages, and she and her husband Jules are hoping that the latest pregnancy will produce the miracle the two so desperately seek.

Synopsis

Claudia Affanato is 48 years old and she and her husband Jules would like nothing more than to have a baby. In a horrific twist of fate, the couple has been trying to conceive since 1999, 13 pregnancies have resuted in 13 miscarriages. The couple was never discouraged and has never given up, and now Claudia is pregnant once again.

In this initial venture from GershmanFILMS, Claudia and Jules invite you into their lives to experience the ups and downs of her 14th pregnancy. This documentary offers a firsthand look at a couple clinnging desperately to hope, and their joy when their dream is realized.
